Steve Matthews

Betty and I had many memorable experiences as space pioneers in the 60s and 70s. We began sharing our story when we were asked to make a presentation at our church about life on the missile tracking stations, and our involvement in launch operations at Cape Kennedy.  While revisiting our stacks of memorabilia, my excitement reignited and inspired me to write this book. I dedicated it to my grandchildren who may someday want to know what part their grandma and grandpa played in landing the first men on the moon.
